BigBlu came to Lunar with a site that needed updating and improving in order for it to be ready for their expansion effort. During the initial stages of working together, Lunar advised on architectural decisions ad started work updating the existing codebase in order to steer the project in a more maintainable direction, ultimately leading it to a position where the site was ready for international rollout.
In phase 2, with a re-invigorated architecture as a basis for future work, BigBlu and Lunar worked jointly to begin expanding the BigBlu offering into multiple European countries. A staggered roll-out meant that BigBlu could reach the most customers in the shortest amount of time, all while new features and updates were being applied to the sites to ready them for the later stages of deployment, which saw BigBlu's reach spread across the continent.
Key to BigBlu's business strategy was to acquire other service providers across Europe and bring their customers and services under the BigBlu brand.

The BigBlu project resulted in the successful rollout of over 20 sites, with a wide range of languages, localised content and bespoke features to ideally suit that market's needs. Lunar assisted BigBlu in their ventures by unlocking the ability to reach further and communicate more widely. As the partnership came to a close, Lunar had assisted BigBlu in an ambitious expansion project that came to fruition with the company being able to establish itself across a greatly expanded range of diverse markets and extend its offering where it matters most: online.
